Rahee’s CSR initiatives are aligned with business
sustainability
strategy 2030,
sustainable development, ESG goals, and section 135 (Schedule VII) of the Companies Act, 2013. The focus
areas are Green School Campaign, Health System Strengthening, Water Governance & Management, Environmental
Sustainability and Sustainable Livelihood. We work with specialised and credible partner organisations,
government bodies and other private players for bringing convergence, collaborations and conglomerations to
achieve scale and impact.
CSR Policy
The Board of Directors issued its CSR Policy on 10th March 2021 which is still a
guiding tool for ensuring
its social return on investment. The Mission is to facilitate an inclusive growth to create a value based
and empowered society through continuous and strategic community engagement.
The CSR policy of the Group revolves around the premise of “Quality First Speed
Always”. The CSR of the
Group strives to address the issues of quality education, environmental sustainability and health system
strengthening. The CSR of the Group firmly stands on 5 pillars; i.e.
1) At least 2% of average net profit before tax on social development
2) Transparency and accountability
3) Meeting Unmet Needs of the community
4) Women empowerment through inclusion and equity
5) Promotion of Volunteerism though social engagement process.
The CSR Committee comprises of four (4) members of which two (2) are Independent
Directors. The Committee is
chaired by, the Managing Director of the Group. The committee meets at least once in two consecutive months
to review the status of existing initiatives and recommendation of new initiatives to the Board. The Group
has engaged a dedicated CSR Manager for ground truthing.
